Voyager 1 sweeps past Saturn
NASA's Voyager 1 made its closest approach to Saturn, returning the sharpest views yet of its rings and a first close look at the hazy moon Titan. The encounter filled in our picture of the outer solar system before the probe headed for interstellar space.
