    Einstein completes general relativity

    Albert Einstein presented the final field equations of general relativity to the Prussian Academy of Sciences in Berlin. His new picture of gravity, as the bending of space and time, has passed every test since, from the orbit of Mercury to the ripples we now catch from colliding black holes.
